Everyone who has access to the experience point connected to a Smiley Touch or Smiley Terminal can subscribe to status emails so that member of staff that is closest to the Smiley products without power can quickly fix the situation.
- Go to My Profile > Account settings
- Tick the box Device status notifications and select Save.
Smiley Touch
Status notification is sent when the battery level is getting low. When the power level in the battery gets to 10% and if the Smiley Touch is not plugged in and charging, it automatically turns off.
What are some possible reasons for Smiley Touch not receiving AC power?
- The charger is unplugged from the wall socket
- The original HappyOrNot charger has been replaced by another charger
- USB cables are not properly connected
- The original HappyOrNot USB cables have been replaced by other cables
- Power outage
Smiley Terminal
The system scans the battery levels of all active Smiley Terminals, and when the battery level is under 3700mV, an email is sent every second Sunday until the battery is replaced.
