- Go to Admin > Surveys, and click the survey you want to pause.
- Click the group/experience point where you want to pause the survey and select the edit icon (
) next to it.
- Set the end date for the survey to the time when you want the survey to go on pause.
- Select Add survey period and add a new time period that starts when you want the pause to end.
- Select Save.
We recommend that you set Smiley Touch to sleep mode while the survey is on pause. If the pause is a long one, more than a few days, we recommend you unplug the power cable from the power outlet and move the Smiley Touch to storage. For more information on the sleep mode, see Sleep mode for Smiley Touch.
Smiley Terminal will stay active for as long as the battery lasts but Analytics will not show any results from when the time period when the survey is on pause. We recommend you put the Smiley Terminal to storage during a long pause.
