The QR code is only available for Smiley Touch. For a similar feature on Smiley Digital, see Set up a redirect page.

You can customize the thank-you screen after the survey to include a custom message and a QR code that leads the feedback giver to a website of your choice. You can use this, for example, to reward feedback givers with a coupon, invite them to join your loyalty program, request a public online review, or direct negative feedback givers to your customer support chat.

💡 TIP: Providing a discount code after negative feedback can improve the feedback giver's impression of you and make it more likely that they return even after a negative experience.
NOTE: If you are using the Promo screen, you cannot show feedback results on the Thank you screen.

Add a custom message

Custom messages are survey-specific. For more detailed instructions, see Create a new survey

  1. Under Main screen custom message, select Show custom message.
  2. Enter the text you want to show on the main survey screen. Add translated versions for all your survey languages.
  3. Under Custom messages on the Thank You screen, enter a main text and a secondary text to be shown on the thank you screen. Add translated versions for all your survey languages.
💡 TIP: You can change the color behind the text with custom branding

Add a QR code to the thank you screen

The QR code is experience point specific.

  1. Go to Admin Surveys.
  2. Open the survey where you want to set up the redirect.
  3. Click the gear icon (image.png) next to the relevant experience point.
  4. Scroll down and change Show QR code on thank you screen to Yes.
  5. Select if you want to have a different QR code shown after positive and negative feedback.
  6. Enter the QR code URL(s). The code itself is automatically generated.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that you test that the URL you add is correct and works. Having a non-working or incorrect website in your survey can give your feedback givers a bad experience.
