If you have Admin rights, you can remotely restart a Smiley Touch.
- Go to Admin > Smileys.
- Search for the Smiley Touch you want to restart and click its name.
- Select Restart at the top of the page. The Smiley Touch will restart within an hour after the button has been clicked.
Smiley Touch software restarts automatically if there is no network connection for 3 hours. If Smiley Touch cannot get a connection within 15 minutes after the software reboot attempt, both hardware and software will be automatically rebooted.
If there still is no connection, Smiley Touch repeats the procedure every 12 hours for as long as the network connection has been re-established.
For remote restart to work, Smiley Touch must communicate with HappyOrNot Analytics normally. To check the communication status, go to Admin > Smileys. If there is an issue, an error message will be shown next to the Smiley Touch name.
