No light or sound after a button press
- Do a soft reset on the Smiley Terminal. Read instructions for how to do a soft reset on Smiley Terminal V1, V2 , or V3.
- Check that the batteries are correctly installed. If this does not help, change the batteries. Read instructions for how to change the batteries for Smiley Terminal V1, V2, or V3.
- This can also be a network signal issue. Move the Smiley Terminal to another spot and do a soft reset (instructions for V1, V2 and V3). If it is still not working, do the same again.
Red light blinking
This is due to a network issue. Move the Smiley Terminal to another location and do a soft reset. If this does not work, try changing the location again.
If you're certain that the location has network connection, you can also try to do a hard reset to re-establish the connection.
IMPORTANT: Doing a hard reset will delete all collected feedback data that has not yet been uploaded to HappyOrNot Analytics.
No data in HappyOrNot Analytics
- Check that your survey is set up correctly. For example that the opening times are set up correctly.
- Check that the buttons are working (there is a sound and the LED light blinks when a button is pressed). If they are, this means that the Smiley Terminal cannot connect to a network. Move the Smiley Terminal to another spot and do a soft reset (instructions for V1, V2 and V3). If it is still not working, do the same again.
