You can receive push notifications for Real-time Cooperation alerts, comments and acknowledgements either on HappyOrNot app or in in a web browser when using HappyOrNot Analytics. The notifications look a bit different depending on whether you receive them on Android or iOS mobile app or on a web browser.
For using notifications with a web browser, we recommend you use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Opera. NOTE! Apple Safari and Microsoft Internet Explorer do not support push notifications.
Benefits of receiving push notifications for Real-time Collaboration
Push notifications enable you to react quickly to changes in performance. The changes are identified based on alert thresholds that are set individually and on time periods that are being monitored.
Push notifications give you real-time information about the received feedback and you can take corrective action immediately. To this end, notifications from Smiley Touch also include 3 pain points with the highest score.

There are also positive alerts for Real-time Collaboration. Here is an example of a push notification from the HappyOrNot app giving a positive alert:

Push notifications give you real-time information about the received positive feedback, and you can celebrate the success among employees and promote it to your customers.
NOTE! If you operate on Windows, remember to expand the alert view to see all the highlights or pain points.
Subscribing to push notifications for alerts
1. Go to My profile tab and select Subscriptions.
3. In the dialog box, make the following selections:
- Group or experience point
- Subscription type: Real Time Alert
- Delivery method: Push notification
Managing the users who receive push notifications for alerts
- In Admin, go to the Users tab.
- Search for the user whose subscriptions you want to edit and click their name.
- In the Subscriptions section click the subscription you want to edit or select Add new to create a new one.
- In the dialog box, make the following selections:
- Group experience point
- Subscription type: Real Time Alert
- Delivery method: Push notification

Select Save. The new subscription appears on the Subscriptions list for that user.
Disabling and enabling push notifications for alerts
If you do not want to receive push notifications, they can be quickly disabled in the HappyOrNot. Go to the Alerts widget on the Analytics page and click the bell icon in the upper right corner.
When push notifications are disabled, the bell icon has a slash.
When push notifications are enabled, the bell icon is without the slash.
The bell icon toggle disables push notifications from HappyOrNot Analytics for each device separately and can be used to quickly disable or enable notifications, for example, when work shifts start or finish.
If you do not receive push notifications on your mobile device or browser even though you are using Real-time Collaboration, check the settings of your device and that push notifications are supported on the browser. Also, check the position of the bell icon toggle.
