HappyOrNot offers several different features that ensure that the feedback you receive can be trusted. We also recommend that you read the article Children playing with the smileys? for more tips.

Smiley Terminal

You can adjust the response interval to filter out repetitive button pushes from your reports. For more information, read Filter out irrelevant Smiley Terminal button presses.

Smiley Touch

You can adjust how quickly the Smiley Touch survey moves from screen to screen, to make it more time-consuming to leave spam feedback, or add a delay between responses. For more information, read How to change Smiley Touch navigation speed and Set a delay between survey responses on Smiley Touch.

You can also automatically filter out low-quality responses from open feedback with the spam filter.

Newer models of Smiley Touch can screen multiple feedbacks from the same person so that they are not shown in reports. Contact your HappyOrNot contact person to find out if this feature is available for your Smiley Touch.

If your package includes the demographics feature, you can filter out specific age groups from the results. Demographics data collection is an add-on feature. Your HappyOrNot contact person can tell you more how to enable it.

Smiley Digital

You can select in the experience point settings how often the survey is shown to the same person visiting the website. The options for the frequency are daily, one week, two weeks and never.

You can also automatically filter out low-quality responses from open feedback with the spam filter.
