To prevent accidental feedback when cleaning Smiley Terminal, you can put it temporarily in a cleaning mode. When the cleaning mode is activated, the LED indicator will start blinking and all button presses are disabled for the next 30 seconds.
The mode is activated differently on Smiley Terminal Stand and Smiley Terminal Wall.
Smiley Terminal Stand
Press and hold the two left buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds.
Smiley Terminal Wall
Press and hold the two right buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds.
If the cleaning mode is not activated, make sure that the buttons were held down simultaneously and firmly for 4 seconds.
Note: Wipe the Smileys using a cloth and mild detergent. You can also use antiseptic wet wipes to sanitize the buttons.
