To ensure that the Smileys are inviting and that giving feedback is easy, we recommend that you assign a specific person to check the Smileys products daily to make sure that they're clean and working correctly.
Clean the Smileys
HappyOrNot Smileys products should be cleaned regularly, like any other surfaces in your location.
Smiley Touch
Wipe the screen with an antiseptic screen-cleaning wet wipe. Wipe other parts of the Smiley Touch using a cloth and mild detergent.
To prevent accidental feedback, you can pause the Smiley Touch temporarily before cleaning it.
Smiley Terminal
Wipe the Smileys using a cloth and mild detergent. You can also use antiseptic wet wipes to sanitize the buttons.
To prevent accidental feedback, you can temporarily disable the Smiley Terminal before cleaning it.
Check the placement
Make sure that the Smileys product has not been moved and is still easy to use.
If you have a Smiley Touch, make sure that the power cable is safely behind it and not in the way of people walking by.
Is it working correctly?
Smiley Touch
Make sure that the power cable is plugged in. Check that the screen is on. If the Smiley Touch does not turn on, make sure that all the cables are connected.
Smiley Terminal
Check that the Smiley Terminal makes a beeping sound and the notification light flashes when people give feedback. If the Smiley Terminal isn't working, try changing the batteries.
