Feedback data CSV export is a limited offline alternative to using the HappyOrNot API for extracting full feedback data for BI and other external analytical purposes. The CSV (comma-separated values) file can be opened by any spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets.
In HappyOrNot Analytics, you can export either filtered data or unfiltered raw data to a CSV file, which is then sent to you in the form of a link in an email. The link is valid for 2 days.
The file shows the feedback data from Smiley Terminals and Smiley Touches one response per row, and from Smiley Digital two rows per response.
There is a 1-million row limit to the file, so if the export does not go through, please choose a shorter time period. We recommend using an export period of one month.
- Go to Details and choose the filters you need (Experience point/group, survey question, and time period).
- Click Export (top-right corner) and choose Feedback data (CSV).
- Select the type of report you want to export:
- Feedback data - report where feedback classified as misuse have been filtered out (all open feedback is included even if it has been marked as spam)
- Raw feedback data - includes all responses.
- Select Export. You will be notified of the successful start of the export. If the size of the export is too big, select a shorter time period for the export.
Opening the CSV file
You can import the CSV report to the spreadsheet software of your choice, like you would a text file. For further information, please consult the help pages of the software that you are using.
