Smiley Digital is an is used to collect feedback in in digital channels and is available in two formats: Smiley Digital Embed and Smiley Digital Pop-up.
Pop-up is a digital feedback survey that pops up on a web page.
Embed is a digital feedback survey that is either positioned in a fixed area of a web page or in the body of an email message.
Both formats support follow-up questions, open feedback, contact info collection, and a redirect page.

You need to create a survey before you can add the Smiley Digital code to an email or website.
Installing Smiley Digital on a web page
- Go to Admin > Surveys.
- Go to the survey and click its name.
- Scroll to the correct experience point and select Get script and assets.
- Select Smiley Digital Pop-up or Smiley Digital Embed and then Web.
- Copy the Smiley Digital code.
Send the code to your website administrator, who will add it to a suitable place on your website. The technical instructions for installing the code can be found here: https://reporting.happy-or-not.com/docs/smileydigital
Installing Smiley Digital Embed (for use in an email message or signature)
- Go to Admin > Surveys.
- Go to the survey and click its name.
- Scroll to the correct experience point and select Get script and assets.
- Select Smiley Digital Embed and Email.
- Copy the feedback panel to your clipboard by selecting Copy. If you're using email automation software such as Pardot, or other email software that does not support pasting the panel directly, you can also copy the raw HTML of the panel.
- Go to your email client and paste the panel to the body of an email message or email signature. Note: If you're using Mac Mail app, first untick the "Always match my default message font" option, and only after that paste in the email embed from the clipboard.
